Lighting is a crucial feature of the dramatic stage, circus, dance, boxing rings and performance installations using natural light sources and LED technology. Live outdoor events require additional supports with mobile needs, including custom truss and rigging solutions.
BAND LIGHTING
Dramatic lighting brings into synergy music and greater response and engagement from the audience. Our travelling kit specifications include Moving Head, Static, Moving Mirror, LED and Tungsten capable lighting. We also integrate with additional performance elements such as atmospherics, pyrotechnics, projection or LED screens.
CLUB LIGHTING
Andrew Chambers, of the Production Design, is renowned for design and operational acumen. His understanding of light, colour, intensity, frequency was forged in the very generous crucible of an iconic 80’s club called ‘The Red Parrot’ in Perth, Western Australia.
He had the great privilege of using one of the best lighting rigs in Australia with a ready budget to experiment in light and sound. After a sojourn to London and the fast emerging Summer of Love, he returned to Perth to designing for, rigging and operating for the Berlin Nightclub, DC’s, Metros and others.
With partners in Lightworks, Mr Anthony (AJ) Littlewood Johnson, Mr Mike Bird, Mr Brian Anslow, Andrew helped establish Perth’s first “intelligent light” company “Intelight” featuring a fleet of Clay Paky GS3s and an MA Scan Commander which led to the experience of designing, programming and operating over 5 years of the annual Perth Pride Dance Parties and a hand in many of the big raves that took Perth into the world of the dance parties of the 1990s and 2000s.
